Victoria Steen, PA-C

“I was introduced to medicine after college while riding horses professionally. Two fractured arms in two years ended up sidelining my riding career. I worked as a physical therapy aide when I met my first Physician Assistant.  I was really inspired by the career and how closely he worked with patients. I always had a strong orthopedic interest and I was lucky enough to train at one of the top orthopedic hospitals in the country, New England Baptist Hospital in Boston.  After graduating from PA school I returned to Ohio to practice.”

As an experienced certified Physician Assistant, Victoria (“Tori”) Steen works with Sergio Ulloa, DO, orthopedic surgeon. She provides orthopedic patients with a continuity of care from their office visit to surgery. She will first assist in the operating room, and also sees post-surgery patients both in the hospital and later in the office after discharge for postoperative care follow-up. She can diagnose and treat a wide range of orthopedic issues, including administering large joint injections.

Tori believes in a team approach to medicine, and works with Dr. Ulloa and our entire team to provide patient-centered care.  With a passion for helping patients make informed decisions, Tori gives patients information and answers questions about their condition, medical procedure or options.  Tori strives to make every patient feel like a collaborator and she assists them in making decisions that benefit their own unique life. The more involved a patient is in decisions regarding their health, the better the outcomes.

Outside of work, Tori enjoys the great outdoors, especially biking and hiking with her two dogs.  She also loves to cook, read and travel when time allows.
